Daniel Duane's most recent book, How To Cook Like A Man, A Memoir of Cookbook Obsession, tells how Duane coped with fatherhood and family life by burying himself in cookbooks by Alice Waters, Madeleine Kamman, Thomas Keller, and many others. Duane's journalism, appearing in The New York Times Magazine, Food & Wine, Bon Appetit, Sunset, and many other publications, has won a National Magazine Award, been nominated for a James Beard Award, and appeared in the anthology Best Food Writing 2011. He is a contributing editor at Men's Journal and lives in San Francisco with his wife, the writer Elizabeth Weil, and their two daughters.
