What is Northern California Cuisine?
Presented by Sunset
The Bay Area is considered to be the birthplace of California cuisine—chefs here have always championed the local and seasonal ethos. Now more than 40 years since Alice Waters served her first plate of figs, chefs in Northern California continue to push against boundaries and expand the definition of California Cuisine. Chefs from a variety of culinary traditions will discuss how they view the cuisine of Northern California today and its impact on the culinary world.
