Simon Ford, International Ambassador for Plymouth Gin, and Erick Castro will take you on a journey from days past to present to explore the origins of gin, it's use in cocktails and how everything old becomes new again. The history of gin will be demonstrated with a series of cocktails.

Food Network’s Aida Mollenkamp emcees as Delfina's Craig Stoll and Anthony Strong share the kitchen with Spruce's Mark Sullivan and Ben Cohn but only one restaurant family will take home the prize. Watch the local restaurant darlings go head to head to create the perfect dishes to wow the panel of lauded food experts – San Francisco Chronicle’s Miriam Morgan, San Francisco Magazine’s Jan Newberry and Staffan Terje Executive Chef of Perbacco and barbacco, will determine the winning family. In a fun and animated seminar you'll learn about this superb spirit and how it can be crafted into the best margarita you or your friends have ever tasted. Jon Bonné, Wine Editor of the San Francisco Chronicle looks on, and POM Wonderful adds their own spin on the much-loved drink as you learn how to make the POMarita.
Eric will address topics including: The Blue Agave Plant, Debunking Tequila Myths, Denomination of Origin, Origin of the Margarita, How to make a Margarita, and Crafting Tequila. Must be 21 or older to attend.
